Exciting Times

In the movie 'Dead Poet Society' Mr Keating encourages his students to suck the marrow out of life. The following is quoted in the movie:

I went into the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of put to rout all that was not life; and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
~Henry David Thoreau

It is said that people regret more the things they haven't done than the mistakes they've made.

I must say that I would like to say at the end of my life that I have truly lived.

In light of that I try to stretch myself...or expand if you like. So,..

I am now officially part of the TOS Crew. A group of homeschoolers who review educational material. It is a tad scary as I have no idea what will land in my inbox, but also very exciting. I get to use material that will be given to me and then give people my opinion about it. Very cool.

Not only that, but my dh and I started a preaching course last week. No, we don't do things by half measures : )

I am sure it will be an amazing time where I will be challenged and stretched. I hope to learn heaps and that in the process other people (including the kids) would benefit from it too!!

Watch this space!!

Stopping over from my are more than welcome to print out my post to use to think about some more. I have one on "mommy guilt" swirling around in my head that I need to refine and get posted, as well. Hopefully it will be helpful too!

All the best, mama!
